Professional Practise One- FH2S32- Section 4


On the 19th and 20th of September, 2018 I shot the Swn Festival in Cardiff, on behalf of WeAreCardiff. This festival was one of the major shoots for my professional practise, section 4 module submission, since my focus for it is band and gig photography, and this was a great start for it as it helped me get in touch with a bunch of local (Cardiff based bands) who I then went ahead to cover for this module.

The festival featured a number of bands, both local and international, performing at a bunch of venues. In the 2 days that I was shooting, I managed to cover Gaz Coombes at Tramshed, Boy Azooga at Tramshed, SUUNS at Clwb Ifor Bach, Carolines at Tiny Rebel, The Witching Hour at Undertone, Al Moses at Buffalo, Private World at Fuel, Fling at The Moon, Oh Peas! at The Old Market Tavern and Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard at O’neils, along with crowd shots and images to capture the whole vibe of the festival.
